My son is 14 and is being verbally abused by his dad. I went to court today and did and ex parte to modify our existing orders and was denied. My son does not want to go back to his dads cause he is scared of him. What can I do. Can I file another ex parte

The court should have given you a hearing date for this matter. Even if the ex parte was denied, you have a right for the court to hear this issue. Please meet with an experienced family law attorney to explore your legal options.
