Legal Question in Family Law in California

Spousal support in divorce when ''Obligor'' lives out of state

My husband and I own the home in CA where I live, but he now lives in WA. Can I ask for spousal support when I file for divorce in CA? ie does CA have jurisdiction to order an out-of-state resident to pay spousal support?

Yes. For a CA court to have jurisdictino to order spousal support against your husband, he has to have "minimum contacts" with CA. He owns property in CA, so CA has jurisdiction.
