Legal Question in Family Law in California
ex supports me. says he is going to cut me off so i will lose everything and he can take the kids when i am homeless. can he do that?

Not if you get a court order for support first. Then if he stops paying he faces contempt of court charges, which can result in fines, community service or even jail time. If you already have an order, then point out to him that if he stops paying he will face those penalties.
