Legal Question in Family Law in California

Unfit parent

I beleive my daughter is living in an environment that may not be good for her health. The mother does not abuse her physically but does live in a house with several other adults in a small 2 bedroom apartment that is infested with mold and my daughter is always sick and in the hospital at least 2-3 times a week due to respitory issues and the mother blames it on allergies but i beleive it is the mold because as soon as she is removed from that house for more than a few days she is fine but otherwise is always sick. Also she refuses to take my daughter to a real dentist that my insurance covers and insteads pays cash to this nobody hjole in the wall dentist and now my daughter has had all of her front teeth and molars removed because supposedly the dentist has said that they were decaying. I called CPA and they will be out there this week sometime but is there anything here that would grant me custody to her being an unfit parent or is this not justifiable since there is no abuse involved?

You will need to have medical testimony supporting your position. Your statements alone could be sufficient for a court order for a medical examination if necessary. Retain counsel to assist you in this matter.
