Legal Question in Family Law in California

my wife has in formed me that she doesn.t want to be married to me anymore after 13 years of marriage and also owns the house and the business i have worked for her for almost ten years and she laid me off at the same time what are my rights?

Depending on how and when the house and the business were acquired and paid for, you probably own up to half of each. You may also be entitled to spousal support, having just been laid off. I'd be happy to tell you more about what options and rights you may have if you can provide more details.

You are presumed to be 1/2 owner of the house and the business, and you may be entitled to spousal support as well as an award of your attorney fees. You may need to have a forensic accountant appraise the business, so she can buy you out.
