Legal Question in Family Law in California

Last will & testimony

My mother recently passed away. The executor of the will has not contacted the surviving Children in regards to what the will states. She will not give any details. Do we have any rights to view or obtain a copy of the will, if so what?

Re: Last will & testimony

The executor must probate the will and then it will be available. If the executor does not, then you can file for special adminstration to be the executor for failure to do so by the person designated. Good luck.
