Legal Question in Medical Leave in California

fmla for my mother

i have turned in the certification signed by doctor that my mother needs intermediate care. my employer says that i most notify them 24 hr in advance and have a certification or doctors note each time i return from fmla even if its one day or 1 hour. is this right?

The employer can demand reasonable proof for every leave. Work it out yourself, or hire an attorney to help you educate them and you about the rules. Feel free to contact me if serious about doing so.

Negotiate for something reasonable and enlist your mother's doctor's support.
