Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

I was given 10 days leave to amend a cross-complain and opposition to demurrer by judge. It was filed with court and copy sent to plaintiff/cross defendant ... 4 months later the judge did not rule on it and just had a court date now with different judge who has completely ignored the my filing and has not noted no ruling was made on my paperwork submitted on time. Rather he made a next court date and listed it as a "trial setting conference" ... what can I do ?

It sounds like your case is being transferred to a different judge so these judges don't want to rule on it. It some jurisdictions, a trial setting conference will "assign" a judge to the case and he'll rule on your motions.
