auto accident

my 17 yr old daughter was driving her fathers car,bumped into another car,1 small scratch, who is responsible to fix it? Me or her Father

The answer depends on a number of facts that you did not mention. 1. Do you have joint custody or sole custody. 2. Did father give her permission to drive the car. 3. who signed for her to get a driver's license. 4. How did she get the car? I would think that if father gave her permission to drive the car he should be responsible. If she took the car without permission then mother might be responsible for 1/2 of the cost of the repaid.
