Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

car wrongly towed

My car was towed out of a spot that I pay monthly for. Apparantly, the tow company said that my car was not in my spot, it was in another spot. The manager of my apartment said it was okay for the tow company to take my car. They did not call me and I had to pay to get my car back. I know that I parked in the correct spot, and basically it is my word against theirs. I do not think I should have to pay anything, and they should have at least called me because they have my car on file and they knew that I lived at the complex. Is there any legal action I can take against the apartment company?

Yes, you can take the apartment owner and the manager to small claims court.
