Ex Employer
My ex employer is being sued by my former boss for wrongful termination. At the time of his employment I was his assistant. A few weeks weeks ago I was supenoed by my former boss attorney (plantiff). I went to court and gave my testimony and my witness fees were reimbursed by the plantiff. Again this week I was supenoed but this time for the defendant (my former employer) and want to know if I am suppose to recieve witness fees from the defendant for my appearance?

Whoever subpoenas you needs to pay your witness fees.
