Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

Forms needed for suit against prop owner

I am a Liic Gen Contractor and need to file a suit against a property owner who has failed to pay me the final 20k on a large commercial project. I dont have the money to hire an attorney to fight it for me. If you can help me find the forms to file and get her served, i would greatly appreciate it! The Job was located in Fresno County.

Re: Forms needed for suit against prop owner

You can go to www.courtinfo.ca.gov to get the forms to file a complaint. However, for a large commercial project like this, I have no doubt the Owner is going to claim some offsets and the like. He may even counter sue.

I'd suggest that you at least consult an attorney about your case before filing anything.
