Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

non-disclosure agreement

I signed a non-disclosure agreement to settle a claim with an insurance company. I am concerned that a neighbour knows too much about the case as she was asking a lot of questions before we came to a settlement agreement. How do I protect myself?

We would have to read the agreement to know if this is a potential problem for you. It probably isn't if the agreement doesn't cover what you previously had talked about.

Re: non-disclosure agreement

Stop talking to the neighbor about case. Just tell the neighbor you cannot and will not talk about the case.
