Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

Recently my ex and I split just before we broke it off he was using my car while I was away on a trip out of country. When he discovered I had moved on with someone else, he took all my things from his home and piled them into the car. He left them in the airport parking lot where parking fees acrued close to eight hundred dollars. Do I have any serious legal recourse to recoup the parking fees or should I walk away wiser? Any advice would be helpful.

You could pursue him in small claims court. Or you could just walk away wiser. Up to you.

Save your receipts to get your car out of storage and sue him in Small Claims Court. Small Claims Courts have Small Claims Advisors who will help you at every stage of the process. Good Luck!
