Wrongfull billing

My son got my truck impounded for thrighty day'sso we

called to ask what it would take to be able to pick up

my gagage door opener.I was told it would take the

reageasterd owner so we went to get it. The driver

said cant get it wihtout $50.00.So i said forgetit

keep the dam thing.Well when it was time to pay $1,300

to get my truck out thay added the $50.00 and said i

couldent get it unless i pay the $50.00 extra. And

they never even let me get my opener.Can you please

tell me what i can do about these people who are

screwing people out of money. T.

To get your stuff, pay the money under protest. Send a letter asking for a refund. File a complaint with the police chief who licenses these companies, and with the District Attorney. File a small claims action to recover the $50 which appears improper.
