Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

An acquaintance got arrested on conspiracy to commit a crime charges and is also being held for illegal entry. What happens if he is cleared in court? Will he be deported?

More than likely, he will be placed in removal/deportation proceedings because he is illegally in the country. You should check to see if he currently has an ICE hold.
