Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

complicated situation

Heres the story,

My Parents brought me here to the united states on vacation in 1991. We had Visitor Visas.A war broke out in our country so my parents decided it wasn't safe for us to go back. Our Visas Expired.

The U.S government Gave my parents residency and tried to give me and my brother residency but my parents didn't show up to court and messed up everything. Now I'm 19 years old. Without a social security number. and trying to fix a situation that i had nothing to do with... what steps do i take?

Your old case needs to be re-opened...if you were included in that case. It seems like they applied for asylum. Do you have a final deportation order against you? Are you planning to get married to an US Citizen.

Re: complicated situation

Contact a knowledgeable attorney pronto. You're still young enough to possibly avoid aging out at 21 years old. But time's a wasting....various questions must be asked an answered before it's possible to know what your case involves.
