Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

Possible Deportation

My boyfriend has been convicted of a felony, and is incarcerated. He is an illegal ''alien'' and he has an immigration hold. I found out about this when I called the Los Angeles County Jail to check on his location status. Does having an immigration hold mean that for sure he will be deported to his native country of Mexico or not?

You (he) will need a detailed consultation with an attorney who handles immigration-criminal matters in order to assess your (his) options.

Good luck,
