Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

F2 dependant

Hello!

I'm on an F2 status, and my spouse is on an F1. I need to visit my home country. Our visas expire next year, and so does my spouse's I-20. I will take my original I-20, a copy of my spouse's I-20 (where I am listed as a dependant), and a copy of our marriage certificate.

Can there be any potential complications coming back to the US? What other supporting documents do I need?

Your time and attention are much appreciated.

Thanks.

Re: F2 dependent

An F2 can travel. Bring your passport with the current I-94 and the documents mentioned, along with evidence that your husband is continuing his course of study in the U.S.
