Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

I need some help please

I came as F1 but due to

problems i coulnd't register for

classes once i entered us.

I have my I-130 already

appoved and had my AOS

interview 2 months ago but I

am worried b/c i still have no

answer. Is that normal???

Also, I would like to know if i

can work using my EAD

document or if it has any

limitations due to my case has

not been resolved yet.

Dear Inquirer:

Your EAD is the document that legally authorizes you to work pending the outcome of your adjustment of status application. Many cases are not approved on the date of the interview, for any number of reasons. If you entered the US on an F-1 visa and never atended classes, the USCIS may be concerned that you never intended to attend classes when you acquired your visa, which would be construed as visa fraud.
