im a permanent resident of the unite states and i married a us citizen ..how fast would i get my citizenship if i apply now...

It depends on when you obtained your lawful permanent residence. If you obtained that status through marriage to your U.S. citizen spouse, you can apply for citizenship in 2 years 9 months from the date you were granted lpr status. You do not have to wait the five year period to apply if you obtained your lawful permanent residence through a U.S. citizen spouse. So, calculate when you obtained your lpr status, and count 2 years 9 months after that, and that is the time you can start your application for citizenship. Hope this information helps.
