H1 To L2

Hi,

I'am currently working on H1-B which is valid till Oct 2009, My wife has L1-B and she is also working, If I have want to aplly for L2, what will happen to my H1-B?

You won't be an H-1B anymore. As an L-1 though, you can be employment authorized. Be sure this is handled properly. You might find yourself in a bind or sailing smoothly depending on whether this is done right. It is a nice opportunity to work throughout without having to worry about the H-1 six year cap. It could also lead to big problems working here or staying here if not done right.
