Re: Permanent Residency as Investor

If you're talking about the $1 million investor visa program, which will give you permanent residence in the U.S., then you have to satisfy all the requirements of an investment of at least $1 million creating at least 10 jobs before you get your immigrant visa at the US consulate in your country. There's no way of "initially" getting into the U.S. to prove the rest of the requirements as such an investor.

You could come here on a tourist visa or E-1/E-2 visa on a temporary basis, and then decide if you really want to do the investor visa. Not too many investors are willing to shell out the $1 million (could be less if the business is in an undeveloped area), but if you have the money and are willing to do it, we can help you.
