Foreign property

As a partner in an apartment in France, can I be sued in the US by the other partner for being unable to make half the payments? The only written agreement is the ownership papers from France.

You could be sued in the US, or possibly in France and the judgment pursued in the US. How likely this is is anybody's guess.
