Legal Question in Employment Law in California

My boss just informed me that she finished my performance evaluation, but she didn't go over it with me nor ask me to sign it. When I asked for a copy, she said no. Do I have any right to request a copy of my performance evaluation? Thanks.

You have a right to review and receive a copy of any documents in your personnel file. See California Labor Code section 1198.5.

You have a right to a copy of anything you sign, but only a right to see the rest.
