Legal Question in Employment Law in California

My employer has been hitting some rough spots lately and has not been able to pay us regularly. Only one time he had notified us that he would not be able to pay us on time and after that does not even let us know that he is not going to pay us. On top of that, when he does manage to pay us, he only pays us for the time period missed and he also has moved everyone's pay date. I am now getting paid money that is owed to me from almost three weeks back, meaning that everyone is owed at least one or two more weeks of pay to catch us up. We are supposed to get paid bi weekly and now i can barely tell where we're at.
