Legal Question in Employment Law in California
My father has worked for Albertsons for about 25 in the produce department and now the store has a new store manager and he want to make all the employees work at different departments and want to put my dad on the register but he says he finds it difficult he has union cant they do something about it ?

If the manager has violated the terms of the collective bargaining agreement, your father can file a grievance through the union and it is their job to represent him. Some union reps are lazy and may not want to fight for their members. Your father must be vigilant and not take no for an answer.
