Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Higher Title - Decrease in Salary

After 6 yrs working as a Logistics Coordinator and now a warehouse supervisor, my company is giving me two choices: take the Assistant Manager position (5.5K reduction) or remain with the company and have a reduction higher than 5.5K.

They tell me my position has gone away. What I don't understand is how could my title go up and my salary decrease. I would continue to have the same responsibilities. Do I have any rights other than find another place of employmet.

No. Not unless you are claiming some kind of civil rights violation [race, age, sex, etc.]. If so, feel free to contact me. Otherwise, stay or quit at your option.
