Could you provide me with any materials (articles, speeches, and the like)which address current service standards being imposed by clients upon their attorneys/counsel, specifically standards such as attorney accessibility, costs, and any buzz words/terms relating to this subject. Thank you.

You can find some of this material on the state bar site at www.calbar.org but it is very vague. A client always has the right to fire any attorney who does not provide the level of service the client wants.
