Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Hi. I am currently on a part-time pay. I am a dental assitant adn recently our owner for the Dental Office, dramtically decreased the hours i work a week. Is this legal?

The employer is entitled to set and change hours, duties, titles, compensation, benefits, leaves, vacations, holidays, policies, rules, etc. just not retroactively. If you suffer a substantial income reduction, you would have potential grounds to quit and still possibly be eligible for unemployment.
