Personal Employee File
Do I have the legal right to review my own personal employee file? It is currently being held in our HR department but I wanted to review its contents. Please advise.

Employees must have access to their own personnel records, both while employed and
after termination of the employment relationship until the applicable statute of limitations
runs out on any possible legal claims. Labor Code Section 1198.5
