Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I was recently laid off from my job, working full time as a permanent non-exempt employee. Our company has a policy of giving 2 floating holidays a year on top of the vacation we accrue. I did not receive pay for the floating holidays when I was laid off and wanted to know if I am supposed to receive pay for those days. The company is located in Cypress, CA. I was also not paid for the one hour that I worked for the day that I was laid off. Am I supposed to be paid for that one hour as well? Thank you for your time.

If you weren't paid, file a claim with the State Labor Commissioner, Division of Labor Standards Enforcement at the Santa Ana state building.
