why are sites like mturk aloud to pay you a lot less than minimuim wage. they say should take you an hour your pay .75 cent there is no law about this.

The minimum wage in CA is $8.00 per hour. Anything less than that violates CA law.

Yes there are state and federal laws. CA law requires employers to pay at least $8.00 per hour. If you have been paid less in the past 3 years, call an employment law attorney to discuss.
