I was "let go" via text message and now the employer is trying to protest my unemployment using false claims. What are my rights?

How does the employer know you received the text message?

For purposes of unemployment, unless you did something egregious and you otherwise qualify, you should obtain benefits. If not, then you can appeal the denial.
