Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I am currently on unemployment, in the 4th tier and will move into the FED ED extension in a week. I have an offer for temporary contract work. The contract is for 90 dys, up to 40 hrs per week, working from home any hours I wish and making $10 per hour wich is less than half of what I made prior to unemployment. Am I risking losing any further UI benefits if I accept this work? I am hoping this can lead to permanent employment and would like to take it, but at the end of the 90 dys if there is no need for my services can I pick up my UI claim again until I find permanent work?

Every week you have to answer the questions on the unemployment form under penalty of perjury including, "Did you refuse any work?" If you check "yes," that is to say, unless you lie under oath, you're not eligible for unemployment.
