Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Considering ''whistleblower'' status

Under what circumstances would someone seek whistleblower protection status? What are the benefits of it?

How do the changes in 2004 and 2005 to the sue your boss law effect employees?

Thank You

Re: Considering ''whistleblower'' status

First there has to be illegal conduct to report to proper authorites, which you must do. Then, if you are retaliated against, you have a claim as a whistleblower. Current law is all that matters, and whistleblowers are protected. Contact me if you are retaliated against, to discuss your legal remedies.
