Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I work in a small office of two girls with the business manager also in the office. We are often told we can not speak spanish in the office, by the manager and also by our union rep. Since we are both hispanic it is easy for us to communicate in both languages, which we really don't do it alot, and no one else before this manager had a problem til he came into office around 5 years ago. The other problem we are experiencing is harrasment by the membership and although we brouth it up to our manager, he won't put a stop to it, since it has increase and getting unbearable.

Employers are entitled to require English only in the workplace. Enforcement of that is not 'harassment'.
