Legal Question in Employment Law in California

If I worked 80 hours at $23.00 an hour and 10 hours overtime at $34.50 an hour in a 2 week shift, and did not take any lunches, how much would the company owe me in pay? This happened over a 2 year period that I worked for this company. I was terminated and now seek to get paid what they owed me during this time.

If your company did not "provide" you with 30 minute, off duty meals periods, then they would owe you one hour of pay at your regular rate of compensation for each workday that the meal period wasn't provided. Now, if they provided you with the opportunity to take the meal breaks and you chose not to take them, they wouldn't owe you anything. It is not clear from your question whether they provided you with that opportunity. Speak to an employment attorney regarding your situation and about your rights and options moving forward. Many of us offer free consultations.
