Legal Question in Employment Law in California

wrongful termination?

Terminated due to misconduct and policy violation.

Customer heard a comment not direct towards him but was taken personally. HOLD button would not work because manager was monitoring the call. Manager did not monitor the entire call, only right before I tried to hit the HOLD button. THIS PROBLEM WITH THE HOLD BUTTON & MONITORING was not told to all reps. Issue with customer was resolved with his satisfaction.

Manager stated she was fine with the actions taken to resolve the situation since the customer was happy. She stated it was going to fine, and it was okay, and to worry.

Situation escalated to HR in result of my termination.

Termination form signed was not precise with the events occured. Manager denied she ever said it was going to fine and that it would not escalate.

Re: wrongful termination?

While your situation is unfortunate, you do not have grounds for a wrongful termination lawsuit.
