LLC lease agreements

When filling out a lease agreement as an LLC, do you fill out all names and sign as the LLC or as an individual of the LLC? Especially if trying to reduce Liability.

Your signature should indicate that you are signing in your capacity as a member or manager of the LLC. Here is a sample:

GREAT TENANT, LLC

By:_____________________

John Smith, Member (or Manager)

Failure to follow that or a similar protocol might be interpreted as a personal guarantee of the lease.
