Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

Ownership of sign space

18 years when I leased a unit in the shopping center, the landlord sold me a space on the sign post of the shopping center. The written note says that the space could be leased or sold by me should I decide to. Six months ago, I moved out of the shopping center. The new tenant put their sign onto the space on the sign post. Do I go after the tenant or the landlord ? What other recourse do I have ?

Re: Ownership of sign space

Sounds like a property right in the sign post that you bought with good money. You should go after both the tenant and the landlord.
