Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

I'm trying to get out of my sublease early. It's a 12 month lease but in my contract it says that I need to give 30 days notice in writing if I intend to leave. The tenant won't let me out but withheld some of the original lease she signed with the landlord from me such as pets being allowed and a lead-based paint disclosure. Is there any way I can get out of this lease? I can't afford to stay and I found people interested on Craiglist in the place but the tenant who subleased to me says they only want someone from their church or from their school?

If your sublease says you only need to give 30-days notice to the prime tenant, that's all you need to give. The prime tenant's lease with the landlord is their problem.
