Sue company for ID theft vulnerability due to stolen laptop?

Boeing employee laptop computer stolen with my personal information (i.e.name, SS#, address, etc.) on it. Employee was in violation of company security procedures; company processes being changed so future info. can't be compromised-can I sue company for losing my info. making me vulnerable to ID Theft? Same scenario happened before.

Only if you have suffered harm. No harm, no foul. Emotional distress for fear of ID theft is not a recognized basis for a lawsuit.
