can I get my money back?

I hired an attorney who did nothing that he said he would do, the only thing he did for me was get contionous for 13 months, I fired him and the next month the case was dismissed.

Send the attorney a demand for return of the money or, if he doesn't want to return it, an accounting of where the money went. Then, you have a right to go to fee arbitration, which is nonbinding. Certain time limits apply, however.
