Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in California
hello. i would like to be contacted though my email and kept anonymous. i am looking for legal advice. self injury to my knee resulting in knee realignment surrgery 8/6/09. 3 screws and about 20 staples in my left leg. was not told by doctor the excruciating pain that would result from procedure. released from outpatient surgery center while pain was not under control. bad reaction to medication given for pain and could not get a call back from doctors office. finally received call 24 hrs later and was treated terribly for asking for different pain meds and actually hung up on by nurse when telling her how disapointed i was in their post op care. ended up going to my local hospital er by ambulance where they quickly managed my pain and took care of me. at home now but feel i need to be admitted in the hospital for a few days. i am not managing well after this invasive procedure and feel like the surgeon and his associates are not taking responsibilty. not sure if it is because i am on medical. any advice would be much appreciated.
