Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in California

Being released from hospital after a major surgery.

My mother has colon cancer :( She had the surgery & we thought everything went well? That's what the doctor told us. after 5-9 days in the hospital she still could not pass gas or take a dump. The doctor released her to go home & he said well you can take a dump at home.My question is to you is he at fault for releasing her without having a bowel movement? I thought you can not get released from hospital until the doctor sees that everything is in working order? It gets worse after the doctor sends my mom home without making sure if see can poop.''PLEASE'' replay to this letter I need to get sent in the right direction for help.can your company help me? This is not the end of my mothers nightmare from hell.If you respond to my letter, & You would like me to finish the story re:2-more surgeries after this simple surgery the doctor told my mom. If the doctor kept my mom in hospital until she pooped she would never have had 2-unnecessary surgeries because the doctor ''SAID'' it was ok to go home. P.S.--Who do I complain to re:A dirty hospital? You can call me anytime re:my moms problem. Thank you

Re: Being released from hospital after a major surgery.

If you have doubts, get a second opinion from a qualified surgeon. If you suspect you mom was the victim of medical malpractice, you will need to have the case evaluated by a qualified attorney. The attorney will review the matter for free, and if there is a viable case will pursue the matter on contingency, meaning no recovery - no fee.
