Statue of limitations for malpractice and or gross neglagence

If you go into the hospital well to have a baby and become ill and the illness only gets worse as the years go on, and you find out that you have been lied to about your condition is there a statue of limitations

Yes--One year from the malpractice or within 3 years of last treatment, if you did not have reason to suspect the malpractice. You really need to go over this with an attorney, as the general rule is within 1 year.
