Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

auto accident/ injury

Yesterday a city garbage truck ran a red light and slammed into my vehicle. I was in the hospital until 4am this morning. I have heart problems so i was having test after test done on me. There are a few other injuries I was being treated for. What should i do? Who do I talk to? How do I get my vehicle replaced?

Assuming the garbage truck was at fault, you have a case against the City. Cases against governmental entities have special rules. Pls email me further so that I may help: [email protected].

FIRST, do not make any oral or written statements to police, insurance companies, or anyone else, without consulting with an attorney. Next, you will end up making a claim for your property damages and injury through the required Government Claims statutes, with the help of your attorney. It is likely you will have to file suit if you wish to recover the full value of your claim. Feel free to contact me for the help you'll need.

Re: auto accident/ injury

You need to get your medical records and bills regarding your hospital stay and if it aggravated your heart, the other driver is responsible for that. I know a lot about the heart from my own personal experience. If you talk to the adjuster (I would recommend you get counsel first) then the adjuster for the at fault driver/owner will pay for your property damage and ultimately for your medical expenses, loss of income and pain and suffering. Re: auto accident/ injury

you need to contact me if you are in Orange County or nearby. A claim has to be filed with the city within 6 months and you need to get the police report. If you had collision coverage on your policy, report this to your own company.
