Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

After bringing forth evidence of fraud in my hoa (I currently am on the bod) i have received two death threats, slashed tires, an attempted assault with a deadly weapon (car trying to hit my family and I ) and ongoing harassment by the other board members. We have had to move from our home temporarily as a result. My wife and I have severe anxiety and sleep problems as a result. I travel for my job so she cannot stay in our home. Do I have a case? I just want this all to end so I can get some sort of peace back in our lives.

If a crime was committed, you should have reported it. If someone poses an ongoing threat of harm or harassment to you, you could file for a restraining order.

You can sue anyone how assaults you, or 'inflicts emotional distress'. However, you have the burden of proof, and must decide whether it is worth investing the time and money to litigate it.

If serious about hiring counsel to help in this, feel free to contact me.
