Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

Exposure to STD by fiancee

My fiancee has herpes. He lied to me for 6 years until he had an outbreak. I have not been diagnosed with it. Can I sue for damages?

If you do in fact get herpes and you can prove that your fiance had knowledge of the disease and failed to disclose that fact to you, you could sue for fraud as well as other tort theory's. The key is getting diagnosed first, and proving that the cause was your fiance, as well as his prior knowledge of the same.
